Capacitors in Series
When capacitors are connected in series:
- The same charge (Q) appears on each capacitor
- The total voltage (V) is the sum of individual voltages
- The equivalent capacitance is calculated using:
1/Ceq = 1/C1 + 1/C2 + ... + 1/Cn
